We are near the end of the school year, and I literally CAN NOT believe how quickly this year has gone. I have been scratching my head trying to figure out exactly what to get students as end of the school year gifts. There are so many different ideas on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook that it has become harder and harder to choose.

I can see why parents ask their family and friends about end of the school year teacher gifts. Even my good friends and family constantly ask me what I would like to receive on the last day! I decided to put together a list of some easy and fund end of the school year student gifts and end of the school year teacher gifts!
End of the School Year Gifts For Students
Let’s start with the end of the year gifts for students. But don’t worry if you are looking for a teacher appreciation gift or end of the year gift for a teacher! Scroll down, and you’ll find those too!
Student Gift Idea #1: Candy, Candy, Candy
Yes, all kids love candy, and you’re sending them home to their parents for the next 2 months, therefore the sugar high won’t be your problem (totally kidding!). I enjoy giving PopRocks or Gum, and I don’t have to worry about nut allergies when giving it out.
Student Gift Idea #2: Beach Fun
Summertime means playing outside, and some of your teachers are lucky enough to live by a beach! Giving beach toys like a beach ball or a sand bucket and pail are great gift ideas! Students will love having a fun ball to kick around and throw in the sun or a sand bucket filled with little pop-it toys or candy, even if you are not near the beach!
Student Gift Idea #3: Gotta Have Shades
Your students became so bright this year you probably need to wear shades. So why not give your class the gift of sunglasses! There are so many different bulk options available online and in stores! Sunglasses are a fun and easy gift, plus having all students put their sunglasses on for an epic last day of school photo is a great idea!

Student Gift Idea #4: Outdoor Fun
This end of school gift is always a Dollar Store favorite. Almost every dollar store I walk into has traditional bubbles or bubble tubes, making them easy to find and at a REALLY great price. No matter what age, students love to blow bubbles! While you are at the store, look for some chalk, another great outdoor toy, and another one of my favorite gift ideas. Creating summer masterpieces one chalk drawing at a time.
These end of year gifts for students are just a couple of ideas. There are still plenty more out there. But why spend hours searching Etsy or Pinterest when I have them all available for you right here in my TPT store!
End of the School Year Gifts For Teachers
Alright, parents, this section is for you! If you are racking your brain for the past few weeks trying to figure out a teacher gift. You’ll want to start scrolling because I have some ideas, and guess what!? They don’t cost alot, and they are not personalized teacher gifts (unless you want to do a little add-on).
Teacher Gift Idea #1: Gift Card Galore
It is that simple. Teachers love long strolls through Target with Starbucks in hand during the summer months. (Dunkin’ gift cards are also awesome) They usually are scoping out the dollar spot for some new must-have classroom items or resources. But they love not to have to spend our last paychecks we got in May or June.
The summer months with no income can be rough, but giving teachers a gift card makes the shopping trips easier.

Teacher Gift Idea #2: Self-Care Time
Teachers have a little more free time during the summer, so they’ll try to get a little more self-care into their routine. Grab some nail polish, a nail file, and those things that separate your toes. Most of these items (if not all) can be found at a dollar store like the Dollar Tree. So no reason to break the bank!
Teacher Gift Idea #3: Vacation Mode
Grab a bunch of vacation items and put them into a sand bucket or basket—a towel, water bottle, flip flops, sunscreen, etc. They will all be put to good use by your teacher, whether they are going on a family vacation to the beach or just hanging by the pool.

Teacher Gift Idea #4: Zesty Surprise
Lemons mean lemonade and summertime, in my opinion, so there are a ton of ways to incorporate lemons into your end of the school year gifts. Grab a lemonade pitcher, some lemonade packets, and a cute set of plastic cups. You could also pick up a lemon-scented candle or essential oil with a diffuser.
End of the School Year Gifts
These end of year gift ideas are sure to make any student or teacher happy. The coolest thing is I have gift tags available for volunteers, and administration. You can easily make one of these tags into a student teacher gift too!
