Hi, ya’ll! Sorry, I had to show I’m a bit of a country gal. 😉
I’ve taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade for eight years in the beautiful sunshine sate. I love upper elementary because the kiddos have quite the personalities! Most of them laugh at my jokes and some still want to impress their teacher. I’m okay with that. 🙂
Every day I enter my classroom, I hope and pray that my passion for the content motivates the students. I want the kids to want to learn.
Every day I leave my classroom, I hope and pray that my students go home knowing that they are loved by their teacher.
Educational Background
<- I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from The University of Tampa. Gorgeous, right?
I apparently missed learning so much I went back within 6 months. So while I was teaching full time, I earned a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I didn’t stop there, though (even though everyone told me that was enough). 🤷♀️ In my second year of teaching, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. While I don’t have any intentions of becoming an administrator any time soon, I’m thankful I went to school when I had the time (and energy). I definitely have a passion in designing curriculum and finding ways to keep all of my students engaged, while still focusing on the standards.
Personal Life
When I’m not at school, you can either find me remodeling houses, leading youth group at church, playing golf (or at least trying to my best), or near any body of water soaking up the sun.
I’m currently flipping my second house. It’s a weird addiction; you should try it sometime. 😏 Making a mess is apparently my favorite part! I think I love the fact that it also gives me control over something and I get pretty immediate gratification….emotions I don’t often experience at school. While I love all the TV shows about flipping houses, it just doesn’t show the reality of it. The unknowns, the risks, the constant sweating while you work….now that I’m talking about it, I’m not sure why I love it so much. Haha!
I appreciate YOU being here. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me at hello@chloecampbelleducation.com. Hope to hear from you soon! 🙂
