Hi, I'm Chloe! I taught 3rd–5th grade math for 11 years, and every resource in this shop was built for real classrooms: low prep, high engagement, and a whole lot of sneaky learning.
Teach your students about classifying quadrilaterals while creating an interactive book! Students will love coloring and writing in their own book to learn about the characteristics of quadrilaterals. Students will fill in the blanks for type of quadrilateral. They also will have the opportunity to color in the title and images throughout the book.
There are two options: one that is blank with headings only and one with the description already written. Perfect to use with any students who have accommodations or students who are absent.
This is a fun, low-prep resource to help review for a test or use throughout your geometry unit.

AMAZING resource for classifying quadrilaterals but l thought there would be more to the triangle sort/classifying. The quadrilateral portion has a variety of cards to pick from but there are not any card for triangles.

My students loved the mobile! I printed the pages in order to have the definition in the back and the big figure in the front, we hanged them outside the room to show off (hehe) and teachers from different grade levels were grateful because of the opportunity that gave lower grades students to learn the names. Thank you!

I purchased this because I wanted an activity for both quadrilaterals and triangles for my students. The quadrilateral portion was great. It has the quadrilaterals with the properties. There wasn’t anything with the triangles. So I purchased something that wasn’t what I had thought I was getting. If you only get a quadrilateral activity, then it should say that in the description.

My 5th graders loved working on this sort. I was able to differentiate by varying the amount of information required to be written about each polygon. I think including a word bank would be helpful.

It was a great way for students to review vocabulary and classification of quadrilaterals and triangles. It was well explained-so even some of my lower students were able to clear up any misconceptions about these geometry topics! They all keep asking if they can play again!
