My students are using this to write another informative essay- they need lots of practice! I like that this was different than what I have used in the past. Articles were well written and instructions were clear.

The passages were a little too difficult for 4th grade, but the students were able to understand it with some teacher support and modeling. I would not recommend this for ELL students as the language is too complex. Other than that, I enjoyed using this resource for informational writing.

These passages and writing prompt were a perfect set up for our writing test review. My students enjoyed the passages and these were complex enough that I felt they truly embodied the text level students would see on their state test. Highly Recommend!
