Jen’s Middle School Math Goodies –
This was a great resource and I plan to use it again! I used it in two ways as an introductory numerical expressions lesson: I used the large words as a four corners activity with my students. Each student was given a word or phrase and had to sort themselves into the correct operation. Once we all agreed on the terms for each operation, each student then wrote their word under the operator on the board and we used the individual worksheets to make our own graphic organizer of operator words. The students were highly engaged in the lesson!
